National Portrait Gallery: Primary learning sessions
The National Portrait Gallery tells the story of Britain through portraits. Schools hub is a free online learning resource designed to support the study of Art & Design and History through the world’s largest collection of portraits. We welcome Early Years, School and College groups to the Gallery for self-led visits, exhibition visits and learning sessions.

Our free curriculum-linked sessions bring History and Art & Design learning to life. Develop students' enquiry, visual literacy and creative skills with one of our expert facilitators, as students explore portraits past and present and uncover the inspiring stories they reveal.
