Journey through the history of law and order in Covent Garden as you experience Bow Street Museum of Crime & Justice. Within the iconic building that housed both the Magistrates’ Courts and Police Station in the heart of London’s Theatreland, discover the story of the Bow Street Runners, London's first law enforcement service, and the Metropolitan Police Officers who walked the streets in their footsteps. Explore the original 19th century cells and uncover the stories of the people working in and passing through the station and courts.

To enquire about a staff-facilitated workshop outside our usual opening hours*, please contact the Museum team for availability via email info@bowstreetpolicemuseum.org.uk Price: from £10 per person. The minimum number for a booking of this kind is 10, we would recommend no more than one form (up to 32 students ) at a time. Our available workshops include: Fingerprint Forensics (KS2-KS4) Identikit (KS2-KS4) The First Detectives (KS3-KS4)

*Workshops can only be held on Thursdays. Other days of the week are subject to staff availability and incur a £200 out-of-hours booking fee.
